How To Install libaxc-dev on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install libaxc-dev on Kali Linux.
What is libaxc-dev
libaxc-dev is:
Client library for libsignal-c, implementing the needed database and crypto interfaces using SQLite and gcrypt. Initially, the library’s name was libaxolotl, hence the name.
Additionally it provides utility functions for common use cases like encrypting and decrypting, ultimately making direct use of libsignal unnecessary.
This package contains the development files.
There are three methods to install libaxc-dev on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libaxc-dev Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libaxc-dev using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install libaxc-devInstall libaxc-dev Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libaxc-dev using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install libaxc-devInstall libaxc-dev Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libaxc-dev using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install libaxc-devHow To Uninstall libaxc-dev on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the libaxc-dev package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove libaxc-devUninstall libaxc-dev And Its Dependencies
To uninstall libaxc-dev and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove libaxc-devRemove libaxc-dev Configurations and Data
To remove libaxc-dev configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge libaxc-devRemove libaxc-dev configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove libaxc-dev configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
