How To Install libavahi-core7 on Kali Linux

What is libavahi-core7
libavahi-core7 is:
Avahi is a fully LGPL framework for Multicast DNS Service Discovery. It allows programs to publish and discover services and hosts running on a local network with no specific configuration. For example you can plug into a network and instantly find printers to print to, files to look at and people to talk to.
This package contains the library for Avahi’s embeddable mDNS/DNS-SD stack. This can be used by embedded applications to integrate mDNS/DNS-SD functionality into their applications.
You should not however use this library for non-embedded applications, you should use libavahi-client which interacts with the avahi daemon.
There are three methods to install libavahi-core7 on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libavahi-core7 Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libavahi-core7 using apt-get by running the following command:

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

To uninstall only the libavahi-core7 package we can use the following command:

To remove libavahi-core7 configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge libavahi-core7Remove libavahi-core7 configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove libavahi-core7 configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
