How To Install libattr1-dev on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install libattr1-dev on Kali Linux.
What is libattr1-dev
libattr1-dev is:
This package contains the libraries and header files needed to develop programs which make use of extended attributes. For Linux programs, the documented system call API is the recommended interface, but an SGI IRIX compatibility interface is also provided.
Currently most filesystems support extended attributes. The SGI IRIX compatibility API built above the Linux system calls is used by programs such as xfsdump(8), xfsrestore(8) and xfs_fsr(8).
There are three methods to install libattr1-dev on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libattr1-dev Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libattr1-dev using apt-get by running the following command:

To uninstall only the libattr1-dev package we can use the following command:

To uninstall libattr1-dev and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove libattr1-devRemove libattr1-dev Configurations and Data
To remove libattr1-dev configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
