How To Install libastro1 on Kali Linux
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install libastro1 on Kali Linux.
What is libastro1
libastro1 is:
Marble is a generic geographical map widget and framework for KDE applications. The Marble widget shows the earth as a sphere but does not require hardware acceleration. A minimal set of geographical data is included, so it can be used without an internet connection.
This package contains shared libraries for astronomy support in marble.
This package is part of the KDE education module.
There are three methods to install libastro1 on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libastro1 Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libastro1 using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install libastro1Install libastro1 Using apt
