How To Install libass9 on Ubuntu 22.04

libass9 is:
SubStation Alpha (SSA) is a subtitle file format that allows more advanced subtitles than the conventional SRT and similar formats.
This package contains the shared library for libass.
There are three methods to install libass9
on Ubuntu 22.04. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libass9 Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install libass9
using apt-get

sudo apt-get -y install libass9
