How To Install libarpack2-dev on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install libarpack2-dev on Kali Linux.
What is libarpack2-dev
libarpack2-dev is:
ARPACK software is capable of solving large scale symmetric, nonsymmetric, and generalized eigenproblems from significant application areas. The software is designed to compute a few (k) eigenvalues with user specified features such as those of largest real part or largest magnitude. Storage requirements are on the order of n*k locations. No auxiliary storage is required. A set of Schur basis vectors for the desired k-dimensional eigen-space is computed which is numerically orthogonal to working precision. Numerically accurate eigenvectors are available on request.
This package contains the static libraries and the documentation for development with libarpack (including examples).
There are three methods to install libarpack2-dev on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libarpack2-dev Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libarpack2-dev using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install libarpack2-devInstall libarpack2-dev Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libarpack2-dev using apt by running the following command:

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

To uninstall only the libarpack2-dev package we can use the following command:
