How To Install libapr1 on Kali Linux

on Kali Linux.
What is libapr1
libapr1 is:
APR is Apache’s Portable Runtime Library, designed to be a support library that provides a predictable and consistent interface to underlying platform-specific implementations.
There are three methods to install libapr1
on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get

and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libapr1 Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install libapr1
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install libapr1

After updating apt database, We can install libapr1
using apt
by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install libapr1
Install libapr1 Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install libapr1
using aptitude
by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install libapr1
How To Uninstall libapr1 on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the libapr1
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove libapr1
Uninstall libapr1 And Its Dependencies
To uninstall libapr1
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove libapr1
Remove libapr1 Configurations and Data
To remove libapr1
configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge libapr1
