How To Install libaom-dev on Kali Linux

AOMedia Video 1 (AV1) is an open and royalty free video encoding format optimized for the Internet and the successor of VP9. aom is the reference encoder and decoder implementation published by the Alliance for Open Media.
This package contains the development files.
There are three methods to install libaom-dev on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libaom-dev Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libaom-dev using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install libaom-devInstall libaom-dev Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libaom-dev using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install libaom-devInstall libaom-dev Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libaom-dev using aptitude by running the following command:

To uninstall only the libaom-dev package we can use the following command:
