How To Install libao4 on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install libao4 on Kali Linux.
What is libao4
libao4 is:
Libao is a cross-platform audio library that allows programs to output audio using a simple API on a wide variety of platforms. It currently supports:
- Null output (handy for testing without a sound device)
- WAV files
- AU files
- OSS (Open Sound System, used on Linux and FreeBSD)
- ALSA (Advanced Linux Sound Architecture)
- PulseAudio (next generation GNOME sound server)
- and several others.
There are three methods to install libao4 on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libao4 Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libao4 using apt-get by running the following command:
