How To Install libaec-dev on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install libaec-dev on Kali Linux.
What is libaec-dev
libaec-dev is:
Libaec provides fast lossless compression of 1 up to 32 bit wide signed or unsigned integers (samples). The library achieves best results for low entropy data as often encountered in space imaging instrument data or numerical model output from weather or climate simulations. While floating point representations are not directly supported, they can also be efficiently coded by grouping exponents and mantissa.
There are three methods to install libaec-dev on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libaec-dev Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libaec-dev using apt-get by running the following command:

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

To uninstall only the libaec-dev package we can use the following command:
