How To Install libace-perl on Debian 9

What is libace-perl
libace-perl is:
AcePerl is an object-oriented Perl interface for the AceDB database. It provides functionality for connecting to remote AceDB databases, performing queries, fetching ACE objects, and updating databases. The programmer’s API is compatible with the JADE Java API, and interoperable with the API used by BoulderIO.
AceDB is a genome database system developed since 1989 primarily by Jean Thierry-Mieg (CNRS, Montpellier) and Richard Durbin (Sanger Institute). It was originally developed for the C.elegans genome project , from which its name was derived (A C. elegans DataBase).
There are three methods to install libace-perl on Debian 9. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libace-perl Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install libace-perl using apt-get by running the following command:

After updating apt database, We can install libace-perl using aptitude by running the following command:

How To Uninstall libace-perl on Debian 9
To uninstall only the libace-perl package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove libace-perl
