How To Install ldc on Kali Linux

What is ldc
ldc is:
LDC is a portable compiler for the D programming language with modern optimization and code generation capabilities.
It uses the official DMD compiler frontend to support the latest version of D, and relies on the LLVM Core libraries for code generation.
There are three methods to install ldc
on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude

Install ldc Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install ldc
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install ldc

After updating apt database, We can install ldc

Install ldc Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install ldc

How To Uninstall ldc on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the ldc
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove ldc

sudo apt-get -y autoremove ldc
Remove ldc Configurations and Data
