How To Install laminar on Kali Linux

What is laminar
laminar is:
The Laminar is a system to automate the compile/test cycle required by most software projects to validate code changes. By automatically rebuilding and testing the tree each time something has changed, build problems are pinpointed quickly, before other developers are inconvenienced by the failure.
This is metapackage, depending both on the laminar server and client.
There are three methods to install laminar
on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install laminar Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install laminar
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install laminar

Update apt database with apt
using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install laminar
using apt
by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install laminar
Install laminar Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude

sudo aptitude update

To uninstall only the laminar
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove laminar

sudo apt-get -y autoremove laminar
