How To Install kwin-data on Kali Linux

What is kwin-data

kwin-data is:

KWin (pronounced as one syllable “kwin”) is the window manager for the KDE Plasma Desktop. It gives you complete control over your windows, making sure they’re not in the way but aid you in your task. It paints the window decoration, the bar on top of every window with (configurable) buttons like close, maximize and minimize. It also handles placing of windows and switching between them.

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

After updating apt database, We can install kwin-data using aptitude by running the following command:

How To Uninstall kwin-data on Kali Linux

To uninstall only the kwin-data package we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get remove kwin-data

To uninstall kwin-data and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:

sudo apt-get -y autoremove kwin-data

To remove kwin-data configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get -y purge kwin-data
