How To Install kuttypy-gui on Ubuntu 20.04

What is kuttypy-gui
kuttypy-gui is:
KuttyPy is a USB interfaced board that gives you an option to do such things like to switch a light bulb, rotate a motor or measure a temperature under software control, in pure Python.
Playing with LEDs, motors, switches etc. is the primary objective of this hardware, but the experience gained in manipulating the 32 Input/Output pins of this board will gradually make you familiar with the ATMega32 micro-controller.
There are three methods to install kuttypy-gui on Ubuntu 20.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install kuttypy-gui Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install kuttypy-gui using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install kuttypy-gui
Install kuttypy-gui Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install kuttypy-gui using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install kuttypy-gui
Install kuttypy-gui Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install kuttypy-gui using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install kuttypy-gui
How To Uninstall kuttypy-gui on Ubuntu 20.04
To uninstall only the kuttypy-gui package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove kuttypy-gui
Uninstall kuttypy-gui And Its Dependencies
To uninstall kuttypy-gui and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 20.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove kuttypy-gui
Remove kuttypy-gui Configurations and Data
To remove kuttypy-gui configuration and data from Ubuntu 20.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge kuttypy-gui
Remove kuttypy-gui configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove kuttypy-gui configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge kuttypy-gui
