What is ksirk

ksirk is:

KsirK is a strategy game inspired by the well known game Risk. It is a multi-player network-enabled game with an AI. The goal of the game is simply to conquer the World. It is done by attacking your neighbours with your armies. At the beginning of the game, countries are distributed to all the players. Each country contains one army represented by an infantryman. Each player has some armies to distribute to his countries. On each turn, each player can attack his neighbours, eventually conquering one or more countries. At the end of each turn, some bonus armies are distributed to the players in function of the number of countries they own. The winner is the player that conquered all the world.

This package is part of the KDE games module.

There are three methods to install ksirk on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install ksirk Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install ksirk using apt-get by running the following command:

sudo apt-get -y install ksirk

Install ksirk Using apt

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

sudo apt update

After updating apt database, We can install ksirk using apt by running the following command:

sudo apt -y install ksirk

Install ksirk Using aptitude

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

sudo aptitude update

After updating apt database, We can install ksirk using aptitude by running the following command:

sudo aptitude -y install ksirk

How To Uninstall ksirk on Kali Linux

To uninstall only the ksirk package we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get remove ksirk

To uninstall ksirk and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:

sudo apt-get -y autoremove ksirk
