What is krb5-workstation
Kerberos is a network authentication system. The krb5-workstation package contains the basic Kerberos programs (kinit, klist, kdestroy, kpasswd). If your network uses Kerberos, this package should be installed on every workstation.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install krb5-workstation
on CentOS 7. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install krb5-workstation.

Update yum database with yum
