How To Install krb5-k5tls on Ubuntu 18.04

What is krb5-k5tls
krb5-k5tls is:
Kerberos is a system for authenticating users and services on a network. Kerberos is a trusted third-party service. That means that there is a third party (the Kerberos server) that is trusted by all the entities on the network (users and services, usually called “principals”).
This is the MIT reference implementation of Kerberos V5.
This package contains a plugin for the TLS functionality used by optional functionality in MIT Kerberos. The only current consumer is client support for the MS-KKDCP protocol, which tunnels Kerberos protocol traffic through an HTTPS proxy.
There are three methods to install krb5-k5tls on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install krb5-k5tls using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install krb5-k5tls
How To Uninstall krb5-k5tls on Ubuntu 18.04
To uninstall only the krb5-k5tls package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove krb5-k5tls
Uninstall krb5-k5tls And Its Dependencies
To uninstall krb5-k5tls and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 18.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove krb5-k5tls
Remove krb5-k5tls Configurations and Data
To remove krb5-k5tls configuration and data from Ubuntu 18.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge krb5-k5tls
Remove krb5-k5tls configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove krb5-k5tls configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge krb5-k5tls
