How To Install konqueror on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install konqueror on Kali Linux.
What is konqueror
konqueror is:
Konqueror is the KDE web browser and advanced file manager.
Konqueror is a standards-compliant web browser, supporting HTML 4.01, Java, JavaScript, CSS3, and Netscape plugins such as Flash.
It supports advanced file management on local UNIX filesystems, with flexible views, network transparency, and embedded file viewing.
It is the canvas for many KDE technologies, from remote file access via KIO to component embedding via the KParts object interface, making it one of the most customizable applications available.
This package is part of the KDE base applications module.
There are three methods to install konqueror on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install konqueror Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install konqueror using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install konquerorInstall konqueror Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install konqueror using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install konquerorInstall konqueror Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install konqueror using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install konquerorHow To Uninstall konqueror on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the konqueror package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove konquerorUninstall konqueror And Its Dependencies
To uninstall konqueror and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove konquerorRemove konqueror Configurations and Data
To remove konqueror configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge konquerorRemove konqueror configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove konqueror configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
