How To Install kismet on Debian 9
Introduction

What is kismet
kismet is:
Kismet is an 802.11 layer-2 wireless network detector, sniffer, and intrusion detection system. It will work with any wireless card that supports raw monitoring (rfmon) mode, and can sniff 802.11a/b/g/n traffic.
It can use other programs to play audio alarms for network events, read out network summaries, or provide GPS coordinates.
This is the main package containing the core, client, and server.
There are three methods to install kismet on Debian 9. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install kismet Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update

To remove kismet configuration and data from Debian 9 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge kismet
