How To Install kinput2-wnn on Ubuntu 18.04

What is kinput2-wnn
kinput2-wnn is:
Kinput2 is an input server for X11 applications that want Japanese text input.
A client that wants kana-kanji conversion service for Japanese text sends a request to kinput2. Kinput2 receives the request, does kana-kanji conversion, and sends the converted text back to the client.
This package supports Wnn jserver (version 4 or 6).
There are three methods to install kinput2-wnn on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install kinput2-wnn Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install kinput2-wnn using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install kinput2-wnn
Install kinput2-wnn Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install kinput2-wnn using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install kinput2-wnn
Install kinput2-wnn Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install kinput2-wnn using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install kinput2-wnn
How To Uninstall kinput2-wnn on Ubuntu 18.04
