How To Install kimwitu-doc on Debian 9

What is kimwitu-doc
kimwitu-doc is:
Kimwitu (pronounced kee’mweetoo) is a system that supports the construction of programs that use trees or terms as their main data structure. It is a meta-tool in the development process of tools.
It can easily be interfaced with Yacc and Lex - the idea is that yacc and lex are used to do the parsing, and Kimwitu routines are used to built and manipulate the parse tree.
There is also Kimwitu++ (also packaged for Debian) which interfaces with C++ instead of C; its documentation is still a little shaky, so this document might be useful for it.
There are three methods to install kimwitu-doc
on Debian 9. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install kimwitu-doc Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install kimwitu-doc
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install kimwitu-doc
Install kimwitu-doc Using apt
Update apt database with apt
using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install kimwitu-doc
using apt
by running the following command:

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Debian. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install kimwitu-doc
using aptitude

How To Uninstall kimwitu-doc on Debian 9
