What is khmeros-fonts-common
The Khmer OS fonts include Khmer and Latin alphabets, and they have equivalent sizes for Khmer and English alphabets, so that when texts mix both it is not necessary to have different point sizes for the text in each language. They were created by Danh Hong of the Cambodian Open Institute. This package consists of files used by other khmeros-fonts packages.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install khmeros-fonts-common
on Rocky Linux 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install khmeros-fonts-common.

Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install khmeros-fonts-common
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install khmeros-fonts-common

Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
