This framework provides additional image format plugins for QtGui. As such it is not required for the compilation of any other software, but may be a runtime requirement for Qt-based software to support certain image formats.

Install kf5-kimageformats on CentOS 8 Using yum
Update yum database with yum using the following command.
sudo yum makecache
After updating yum database, We can install kf5-kimageformats using yum by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install kf5-kimageformats
Install kf5-kimageformats on CentOS 8 Using dnf
If you don’t have dnf installed you can install DNF on CentOS 7 first.
Update yum database with dnf using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache
After updating yum database, We can install kf5-kimageformats using dnf by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install kf5-kimageformats
How To Uninstall kf5-kimageformats on CentOS 8
To uninstall only the kf5-kimageformats package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove kf5-kimageformats
