What is kde-config-screenlocker

kde-config-screenlocker is:

KDE systemsettings module to configure kscreenlocker.

kscreenlocker can be configured to support the PAM (“Pluggable Authentication Modules”) system for password checking (for unlocking the display).

PAM is a flexible application-transparent configurable user-authentication system found on FreeBSD, Solaris, and Linux (and maybe other unixes).

There are three methods to install kde-config-screenlocker on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
