How To Install kbd on Kali Linux
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install kbd on Kali Linux.
What is kbd
kbd is:
This package allows you to set up the Linux console, change the font, resize text mode virtual consoles and remap the keyboard.
You will probably want to install a set of data files, such as the one in the ??console-data?? package.
There are three methods to install kbd on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install kbd Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install kbd using apt-get by running the following command:

To uninstall only the kbd package we can use the following command:

To uninstall kbd and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove kbdRemove kbd Configurations and Data
To remove kbd configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge kbdRemove kbd configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove kbd configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
