How To Install kawari8 on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install kawari8
on Kali Linux.
What is kawari8
kawari8 is:
Kawari is a conversation generating script language. It is usually used to develop ghosts for Ukagaka platform.
Ukagaka, also known as Nanika, is a platform on which provides mascot characters for the user’s desktop. These mascot characters can say something which is programmatically generated. Conversations can be generated by programs which follows the Shiori standard. And the conversation-generating script we called it “ghost” which means the spirit of the mascot character.
This package also install the kawari8 plug-in for ninix-aya in order to perform ghosts based on kawari8.
There are three methods to install kawari8
on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install kawari8 Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install kawari8
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install kawari8
Install kawari8 Using apt
Update apt database with apt
using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install kawari8
using apt
by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install kawari8
Install kawari8 Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install kawari8
using aptitude
by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install kawari8
How To Uninstall kawari8 on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the kawari8
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove kawari8
Uninstall kawari8 And Its Dependencies
To uninstall kawari8
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove kawari8
Remove kawari8 Configurations and Data
To remove kawari8
configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge kawari8
Remove kawari8 configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove kawari8
configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
