How To Install kapidox on Debian 12

In this tutorial we learn how to install kapidox
on Debian 12.
What is kapidox
kapidox is:
Framework to aid in creating API documentation for KDE Frameworks in a standard format and style.
The Doxygen tool is used to do the actual documentation extraction and formatting, but this framework provides a wrapper script to make generating the documentation more convenient (including reading settings from the target framework or other module) and a standard template for the generated documentation.
Scripts currently provided are depdiagram-generate-all, kgenframeworksapidox, depdiagram-generate, kgenapidox, and depdiagram-prepare
There are three methods to install kapidox
on Debian 12. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install kapidox Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install kapidox
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install kapidox

After updating apt database, We can install kapidox

Install kapidox Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Debian. Update apt database with aptitude

After updating apt database, We can install kapidox
using aptitude

sudo aptitude -y install kapidox
How To Uninstall kapidox on Debian 12
To uninstall only the kapidox
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove kapidox
Uninstall kapidox And Its Dependencies
To uninstall kapidox
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Debian 12, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove kapidox
Remove kapidox Configurations and Data
To remove kapidox
configuration and data from Debian 12 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge kapidox
Remove kapidox configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
