How To Install jxplorer on Kali Linux

jxplorer is:
JXplorer is an open source LDAP browser originally developed by Computer Associates’ eTrust Directory development lab. It is a standards compliant general purpose LDAP browser that can be used to read and search any LDAP directory, or any X500 directory with an LDAP interface. JXplorer is a fully functional piece of software with advanced security integration and support for the more difficult and obscure parts of the LDAP protocol. It should run on any Java supporting operating system. Main features are:

There are three methods to install jxplorer
on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get

and aptitude

Install jxplorer Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install jxplorer
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install jxplorer

After updating apt database, We can install jxplorer
using aptitude
by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install jxplorer
How To Uninstall jxplorer on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the jxplorer
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove jxplorer
Uninstall jxplorer And Its Dependencies
To uninstall jxplorer
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove jxplorer
Remove jxplorer Configurations and Data

configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge jxplorer
