How To Install jsonlint on Kali Linux

What is jsonlint
jsonlint is:
JSON (JavaScript Object Notation) is a lightweight data-interchange format. It is easy for humans to read and write. It is easy for machines to parse and generate. It is based on a subset of the JavaScript Programming Language. JSON is a text format that is completely language independent but uses conventions that are familiar to programmers of the C-family of languages. These properties make JSON an ideal data-interchange language.
This package provides jsonlint-php, a validating parser of JSON files. Another more complete JSON syntax validator and formatter tool is provided by the python-demjson package.
There are three methods to install jsonlint on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install jsonlint Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install jsonlint using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install jsonlintInstall jsonlint Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install jsonlint using apt by running the following command:

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install jsonlint using aptitude by running the following command:

To uninstall only the jsonlint package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove jsonlintUninstall jsonlint And Its Dependencies
To uninstall jsonlint and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove jsonlintRemove jsonlint Configurations and Data
To remove jsonlint configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge jsonlintRemove jsonlint configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove jsonlint configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
