How To Install josm-installer on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install josm-installer on Kali Linux.
What is josm-installer
josm-installer is:
JOSM is an editor for OpenStreetMap (OSM) written in Java. The current version supports stand alone GPX tracks, GPX track data from OSM database and existing nodes, line segments and metadata tags from the OSM database.
OpenStreetMap is a project aimed squarely at creating and providing free geographic data such as street maps to anyone who wants them. The project was started because most maps you think of as free actually have legal or technical restrictions on their use, holding back people from using them in creative, productive or unexpected ways.
This package provides a script to install the upstream JARs.
There are three methods to install josm-installer on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install josm-installer Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install josm-installer using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install josm-installerInstall josm-installer Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install josm-installer using apt by running the following command:

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install josm-installer using aptitude by running the following command:

To uninstall only the josm-installer package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove josm-installerUninstall josm-installer And Its Dependencies
To uninstall josm-installer and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove josm-installerRemove josm-installer Configurations and Data
To remove josm-installer configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge josm-installerRemove josm-installer configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove josm-installer configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
