What is jo
This is jo, a small utility to create JSON objects $ jo -p name=jo n=17 parser=false { “name” “n” “parser” } or arrays $ seq 1 10 | jo -a [1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10]
We can use yum
or dnf
to install jo
on Rocky Linux 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install jo.
Install jo on Rocky Linux 8 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install jo
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install jo
Install jo on Rocky Linux 8 Using yum

using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install jo
using yum
by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install jo
How To Uninstall jo on Rocky Linux 8
To uninstall only the jo
package we can use the following command:
