Update yum database with dnf using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh

sudo yum makecache --refresh

How To Uninstall java-dirq on AlmaLinux 8
To uninstall only the java-dirq package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove java-dirq
