How To Install ivtools-dev on Kali Linux

What is ivtools-dev
ivtools-dev is:
InterViews is written in C++ and portable to several different Unix platforms. Applications written with the InterViews library can be configured to provide a special “Look and Feel”, such as SGI-Motif and normal Motif. This package contains the include files needed to develop applications with the ivtools library, along with appropriate dynamic library links and static libraries.
There are three methods to install ivtools-dev on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install ivtools-dev Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install ivtools-dev using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install ivtools-devInstall ivtools-dev Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install ivtools-dev using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install ivtools-devInstall ivtools-dev Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install ivtools-dev using aptitude by running the following command:

To uninstall only the ivtools-dev package we can use the following command:
