How To Install itcl3-dev on Ubuntu 18.04

What is itcl3-dev
itcl3-dev is:
[incr Tcl] (or itcl) is a popular object-oriented extension for the embeddable Tcl scripting language. The name is a play on C++, and itcl has a similar object model, including multiple inheritance and public and private classes and variables. Unlike most OOP extensions to Tcl, itcl is written in C for speed.
This package contains the headers and libraries needed to embed or add C extensions to itcl.
There are three methods to install itcl3-dev on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install itcl3-dev Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

After updating apt database, We can install itcl3-dev using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install itcl3-dev

To remove itcl3-dev configuration and data from Ubuntu 18.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge itcl3-dev
