How To Install iscsiuio on Kali Linux

What is iscsiuio
iscsiuio is:
The Open-iSCSI project is a high-performance, transport independent, multi-platform implementation of RFC3720 iSCSI.
This tool is to be used in conjunction with the QLogic NetXtreme II Linux driver (Kernel module name: ‘bnx2’ and ‘bnx2x’), QLogic CNIC driver, and the QLogic iSCSI driver (Kernel module name: ‘bnx2i’).
This user space tool is used in conjunction with the following QLogic Network Controllers: bnx2: BCM5706, BCM5708, BCM5709 devices bnx2x: BCM57710, BCM57711, BCM57711E, BCM57712, BCM57712E, BCM57800, BCM57810, BCM57840 devices
This utility will provide the ARP and DHCP functionality for the iSCSI offload. The communication to the driver is done via Userspace I/O (Kernel module name ‘uio’).
This package is required to offload iSCSI onto these devices.
There are three methods to install iscsiuio on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install iscsiuio Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install iscsiuio using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install iscsiuioInstall iscsiuio Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install iscsiuio using apt by running the following command:

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install iscsiuio using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install iscsiuioHow To Uninstall iscsiuio on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the iscsiuio package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove iscsiuioUninstall iscsiuio And Its Dependencies
To uninstall iscsiuio and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove iscsiuioRemove iscsiuio Configurations and Data
To remove iscsiuio configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge iscsiuioRemove iscsiuio configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove iscsiuio configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge iscsiuioDependencies
