How To Install iraf-wcstools on Ubuntu 18.04

What is iraf-wcstools
iraf-wcstools is:
WCSTools is a set of software utilities, written in C, which create, display and manipulate the world coordinate system of a FITS or IRAF image, using specific keywords in the image header which relate pixel position within the image to position on the sky. Auxiliary programs search star catalogs and manipulate images.
This package contains the IRAF package.
There are three methods to install iraf-wcstools
on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude

Install iraf-wcstools Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install iraf-wcstools
