It can plot multiple blktrace runs together, making it easy to compare the differences between different benchmark runs. You should install the iowatcher package if you need to visualize detailed information about IO patterns.

We can use yum or dnf to install iowatcher on AlmaLinux 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install iowatcher.

Install iowatcher on AlmaLinux 8 Using dnf

Update yum database with dnf using the following command.

sudo dnf makecache --refresh
