How To Install iotop on CentOS 7
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install iotop
on CentOS 7.
What is iotop
Linux has always been able to show how much I/O was going on (the bi and bo columns of the vmstat 1 command). iotop is a Python program with a top like UI used to show of behalf of which process is the I/O going on.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install iotop
on CentOS 7. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install iotop.
