This package alone isn’t of any use; to get a playable game, install openarena or another suitable set of game data, or to get a usable server, install openarena-server or another suitable set of server data.

Install ioquake3-server Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

How To Uninstall ioquake3-server on Ubuntu 18.04

To uninstall only the ioquake3-server package we can use the following command:
