This package contains instructions and programs for reporting on the installation of a new system. It can help you fill out an installation report and send it to the Debian bug tracking system.
Purging this package will remove the logs of the system’s installation.
There are three methods to install installation-report on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install installation-report Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install installation-report using apt-get by running the following command:
