How To Install inputplug on Ubuntu 18.04

In this tutorial we learn how to install inputplug
on Ubuntu 18.04.
What is inputplug
inputplug is:
inputplug is a daemon which connects to a running X server and monitors its XInput hierarchy change events, such as an input device being attached or removed, enabled or disable etc, and runs some command when these events happen.
There are three methods to install inputplug
on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install inputplug Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install inputplug
using apt-get
