How To Install incron on CentOS 7
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install incron
on CentOS 7.
What is incron
This program is an “inotify cron” system. It consists of a daemon and a table manipulator. You can use it a similar way as the regular cron. The difference is that the inotify cron handles filesystem events rather than time periods.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install incron
on CentOS 7. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install incron.
Install incron on CentOS 7 Using yum
Update yum database with yum

After updating yum database, We can install incron
