This package is a dependency package, which depends on Debian’s default Python 3 version’s IDLE (currently v3.9).

There are three methods to install idle on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install idle Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update
