How To Install ibus-wayland on Debian 12

What is ibus-wayland
ibus-wayland is:
IBus is an Intelligent Input Bus. It is a new input framework for the Linux OS. It provides full featured and user friendly input method user interface. It also may help developers to develop input method easily.
This package contains the Wayland input method support.
This package is only needed if you are using a Wayland compositor which supports the “input-method-unstable-v1” protocol, and if you want to input text via this protocol. Note that even on Wayland compositors with no support of this protocol, IBus could still work using its own transport protocol and APIs.
There are three methods to install ibus-wayland on Debian 12. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install ibus-wayland Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install ibus-wayland using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install ibus-wayland

Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install ibus-wayland using apt by running the following command:

Install ibus-wayland Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Debian. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install ibus-wayland using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install ibus-wayland
How To Uninstall ibus-wayland on Debian 12
To uninstall only the ibus-wayland package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove ibus-wayland
Uninstall ibus-wayland And Its Dependencies
To uninstall ibus-wayland and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Debian 12, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove ibus-wayland
Remove ibus-wayland Configurations and Data
To remove ibus-wayland configuration and data from Debian 12 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge ibus-wayland
Remove ibus-wayland configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove ibus-wayland configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
