IBus is an Intelligent Input Bus. It is a new input framework for the Linux OS. It provides full featured and user friendly input method user interface. It also may help developers to develop input method easily.

This package contains test programs, designed to be run as part of a regression testsuite.

There are three methods to install ibus-tests on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install ibus-tests Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install ibus-tests using apt-get by running the following command:

sudo apt-get -y install ibus-tests

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

sudo apt update

After updating apt database, We can install ibus-tests using apt by running the following command:

Install ibus-tests Using aptitude

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
