on CentOS 7.
What is ibus-mozc
Mozc is a Japanese Input Method Editor (IME) designed for multi-platform such as Chromium OS, Windows, Mac and Linux. This package contains the Input Method Engine for IBus.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install ibus-mozc
on CentOS 7. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install ibus-mozc.
Install ibus-mozc on CentOS 7 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
After updating yum database, We can install ibus-mozc
using yum
