How To Install hybrid-dev on Kali Linux

What is hybrid-dev

These are the headers used when writing modules for ircd-hybrid. For more information on how to write these modules, see the ircd-hybrid documentation or example_module.c in the source code for ircd-hybrid.
It also includes mbuild-hybrid, a shell script that simplifies building and installation of such modules. This shell script is simplistic and assumes a lot; if you possess clue, you will know what to do anyway.
There are three methods to install hybrid-dev on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install hybrid-dev Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install hybrid-dev using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install hybrid-devInstall hybrid-dev Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install hybrid-dev using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install hybrid-devInstall hybrid-dev Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install hybrid-dev using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install hybrid-devHow To Uninstall hybrid-dev on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the hybrid-dev package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove hybrid-devUninstall hybrid-dev And Its Dependencies
To uninstall hybrid-dev and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove hybrid-devRemove hybrid-dev Configurations and Data
To remove hybrid-dev configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge hybrid-devRemove hybrid-dev configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove hybrid-dev configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
