How To Install hunspell-tools on Ubuntu 18.04

What is hunspell-tools
hunspell-tools is:
Hunspell is a spell checker and morphological analyzer library and program designed for languages with rich morphology and complex word compounding or character encoding. It is based on MySpell and features an Ispell-like terminal interface using Curses library, an Ispell pipe interface and an OpenOffice.org UNO module.
Main features:
- Unicode support (first 65535 Unicode characters)
- morphological analysis (in custom item and arrangement style)
- Max. 65535 affix classes and twofold affix stripping (for agglutinative languages, like Azeri, Basque, Estonian, Finnish, Hungarian, Turkish, etc.)
- Support complex compoundings (for example, Hungarian and German)
- Support language specific algorithms (for example, handling Azeri and Turkish dotted i, or German sharp s)
- Handling conditional affixes, circumfixes, fogemorphemes, forbidden words, pseudoroots and homonyms.
This package contains a the munch/unmunch tools of hunspell and ispellaff2myspell for converting ispell affix files for myspell/hunspell format.
There are three methods to install hunspell-tools on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install hunspell-tools Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install hunspell-tools using apt-get by running the following command:

Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install hunspell-tools using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install hunspell-tools
Install hunspell-tools Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install hunspell-tools using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install hunspell-tools
How To Uninstall hunspell-tools on Ubuntu 18.04
To uninstall only the hunspell-tools package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove hunspell-tools
Uninstall hunspell-tools And Its Dependencies
To uninstall hunspell-tools and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 18.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove hunspell-tools
Remove hunspell-tools Configurations and Data
To remove hunspell-tools configuration and data from Ubuntu 18.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge hunspell-tools
Remove hunspell-tools configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove hunspell-tools configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge hunspell-tools
