How To Install httptunnel on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install httptunnel on Kali Linux.
What is httptunnel
httptunnel is:
Creates a bidirectional virtual data stream tunnelled in HTTP requests. The requests can be sent via a HTTP proxy if so desired.
This can be useful for users behind restrictive firewalls. If WWW access is allowed through a HTTP proxy, it’s possible to use httptunnel and, say, telnet or PPP to connect to a computer outside the firewall.
There are three methods to install httptunnel on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install httptunnel Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install httptunnel using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install httptunnelInstall httptunnel Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install httptunnel using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install httptunnelInstall httptunnel Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install httptunnel using aptitude by running the following command:

To uninstall only the httptunnel package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove httptunnelUninstall httptunnel And Its Dependencies
To uninstall httptunnel and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove httptunnelRemove httptunnel Configurations and Data
To remove httptunnel configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge httptunnelRemove httptunnel configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove httptunnel configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
